Abstract:
To provide a method for forming a hollow formed body having complicated and ununiform cross-sectional shape from a hollow tubular material.
The method comprises a liquid pressure forming stage where a liquid pressure is applied to the inside of a hollow tubular material 10 having a recessed part 14, and the same is bulged and deformed, so as to form a hollow formed body. At least either the position or shape of the recessed part 14 is changed along the axial direction of the hollow tubular material 10 corresponding to the external shape of the hollow formed body.
