To provide a control device of an electronic device, capable of improving the usability by displaying an operation function executable to range-selected characters.

The electronic device includes: a storage part which stores each operation function executable by the electronic device in association with a character type; a display part which displays the operation function and a character string; a character selection part for selecting a desired character from the character string displayed in the display part; a character type acquisition part which discriminates and acquires the character type of the character selected by the character selection part; a function acquisition part which acquires an operation function corresponding to the character type acquired by the character acquisition part; and a control part which causes the display part to display the operation function acquired by the function acquisition part.
