To provide an interchangeable lens capable of forming a more optimum moving image in a camera body, and detachably mounted in the camera body.
The interchangeable lens 3 is detachably mounted on the camera body 2. The interchangeable lens includes a diaphragm 307, a diaphragm driving part 308 driving the diaphragm 307, a lens controller 311 receiving an instruction from the camera body 2, a flash memory 312 storing a plurality of pairs of information items showing any set value within the set range of the driving speed of the diaphragm driving part 308 and information showing any instruction out of instructions which can be received by the lens controller 311 as information pairs, and the lens controller 311 reading the information showing the set value from the flash memory 312 in response to the instruction received by the lens controller 311, and setting the driving speed of the diaphragm driving part 308 on the basis of the read information.
