PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material sorting device of black waste plastic, which can rapidly sort the large number of black waste plastic pieces with high accuracy.SOLUTION: In a material sorting device of black waste plastic, which sorts the black waste plastic according to material, infrared is applied to black waste plastic pieces, and mid-infrared reflection spectra of the black waste plastic pieces and spectra previously registered for each kind of the material are compared in a wavelength range of 3 μm or more for verification, so that the material of the black waste plastic is sorted.
