Title:
作業機用エンジン
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5377264
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
Disclosed is a work machine engine that is capable of using biomass ethanol as a fuel over long periods of time and is equipped with a fuel tank (56) that stores a fuel comprising biomass ethanol, a carburetor (100) that generates an air-fuel mixture by mixing the fuel introduced from the fuel tank with air, a combustion chamber (8) that takes in and explodes the air-fuel mixture generated by the carburetor (100), a piston (4) that moves reciprocally by means of the explosive pressure generated by the combustion chamber (8), and a crank shaft (16) that converts the reciprocating motion of the piston (4) into rotary motion and outputs the rotary motion. A primary filter (64) that removes impurities within the fuel and a secondary filter (206) that is positioned farther downstream than the primary filter (64) are provided in the fuel distribution process between the fuel tank (56) and the carburetor (100). The secondary filter (206) is formed in a manner capable of removing any remaining materials that did not break down in the biomass ethanol production process.
