To provide a device capable of mass-producing "good-tasting and cold drinking water" in everyday life.

The drinking water producing device includes a plurality of shelter boards horizontally fixed in a vertically long box with a required space between each other in a vertical direction, and also includes an ozone treatment means, a high-pressure pump, an organic matter filtering means, a reverse osmosis membrane means, and a control unit disposed each on the shelf boards and a bottom board of the box in the vertical direction. Moreover, in an upper storing space is placed a mineral water producing tank which takes in the treated water having passed through the reverse osmosis membrane means and which comprises the whole or a part of a cooling means for cooling the treated water. The treated water filtered and cooled in the mineral water producing tank is supplied through a supply pipe connected to the mineral water producing tank to the outside of the box.
