To achieve display in an easy-to-view display state and to enable a user to easily set a desired parameter value.

In display of a shutter speed setting screen, "1/1000", "1/500", ..., "5", "10" being parameter values that can be manually set in shutter speed are allotted to switches 2 to 10. Then, switch images 2' to 10' having the same shape and the same positional relation as the switches 2 to 10 are displayed on a liquid crystal monitor 16, and also the parameter values allotted to the corresponding switches 2 to 10 are displayed near or inside the switch images 2' to 10'. When any of the switches 2 to 10 is operated, shutter speed setting processing is performed to set the parameter value allotted to the operated switch.
