To provide a server device which improves operational efficiency in the storage and reference of medical information by using a recording medium under a thin-client environment, and to provide a medical information processing system.
The medical information processing system 1 has; client devices 7 which have thin-client environments and are connected to each other via a network; and a server device 5 which stores a plurality of pieces of medical information. The client devices 7 transmit requests for storing prescribed medical information among the plurality of pieces of medical information to the server device 5 via the network. The server device 5 reads out the prescribed medical information from among the plurality of pieces of medical information in response to the transmitted requests for the storage, and transmits the information concerned to the client devices 7 via the network. The client devices 7 write the transmitted prescribed medical information to media.
