Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of easily authenticating image data that can be reproduced by authentication, and to provide an imaging device control method, a program and a recording medium with the program recorded thereon.SOLUTION: An imaging device images a subject to generate image data. Face recognition processing is performed on the image data to extract a face included in the image data. When the extracted face image is the same as a face image previously registered in a secret user management table 900, all image data including the face image can be browsed. This saves time to input a password necessary for authentication.
