To provide a low-profile battery pack with a plurality of laminate cells arrayed and stored in the outer case, having reduced thickness and weight while securing dimensional stability.
The low-profile battery pack 1 includes a flat battery pack intermediate 10 mounted in the storage region of a bottom case 20 of a notebook computer. The battery pack intermediate 10 consists of a core pack 11, a metal cover plate 12 covering the upper face of the core pack 11, and an insulating sheet 13 covering the lower face of the core pack 11. The core pack 11 includes the plurality of laminate cells 41-46 and a circuit board 50 arranged inside an insulating frame body 30 along the flat surface. Over the entire outer periphery of the metal cover plate 12, an outer periphery side plate portion 12a is formed by bending an edge portion downward. The insulating frame body 30 is set inside the outer periphery side plate portion 12a.
