To provide a user setting information management device and method effective to reset latest setting information after reprocessing to medical equipment that is reprocessed and reused.
An information management terminal 28 and a DB server 29 constitute a rental support system for endoscopes. The information management terminal 28 manages work recording executed to an endoscope 11 in a reprocess center. Warehousing information indicating that the used endoscope 11 is warehoused in the reprocess center is recorded in an order management table 46. User setting information set in the endoscope 11 for each user is recorded in a user setting management table 47. Reception information indicating that the user setting information read from the warehoused endoscope 11 is input in the user setting management table 47 is recorded in the user setting management table 47. The information management terminal 28 determines whether inputting work is executed on the basis of the warehousing information and the reception information.
