Abstract:
To provide a fuel cell with connection between a catalyst layer and a gas diffusion layer realized while securing conductivity and a gas diffusion property.
On both sides of an electrolyte membrane 10, electrode catalyst layers 12, 14 are provided. On the electrode catalyst layers 12, 14, gas diffusion layers 20, 22 are laminated, respectively. Fine particle layers 30, 32 are provided between the electrode catalyst layers 12, 14 and the gas diffusion layers 20, 22, respectively. The fine particle layers 30, 32 are formed by assembling a number of carbon fine particles 34 with their surface covered with adhesive 36. The adhesive 36 is mixed resin with conductive resin and adhesive resin.
