Title:
車両用回転電機
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP5427576
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a vehicular electric rotating machine producing high power and adapted to improve distortion of gap magnetic flux density, thereby suppressing magnetic sound increase caused by the increased power while preventing the manufacturing process from being complicated. A permanent magnet is disposed between each circumferentially adjacent claw-shaped magnetic poles 11A and 11B. The permanent magnets are formed and disposed such that the surface thereof facing the claw-shaped magnetic pole on the front side with respect to the rotational direction of the rotor has a smaller area compared to the area of its surface facing the claw-shaped magnetic pole on the rear side with respect to the rotational direction. This configuration enables the power to be increased from a low-speed rotation range, and also distortion of the gap magnetic flux density can be improved. As a result, increase of magnetic sound arising from the increased power can be suppressed.
