Abstract:

To provide a method for efficiently recovering an iron and a zinc at a low cost from a waste galvanizing liquid by an economic method.

The problem is solved by the method for recycling the waste galvanizing liquid, and the method includes: a process for oxidizing a divalent iron in the waste galvanizing liquid into a trivalent iron; a process for depositing and separating the trivalent iron as an iron hydroxide; and a process for precipitating and separating as a zinc hydoxide by adding an alkali into the zinc in the waste liquid after precipitating and separating the iron hydoxide, wherein in the process for oxidizing the divalent iron into the trivalent iron, a manganese oxide and/or the hydroxide, are added.
