To provide an image-photographing device performing photographing without causing the evaluation of a photographing state of a photographed image from varying greatly when instructing a change in an angle of field of the photographed image.
The image-photographing device includes a photographing module 110, a state evaluation module 132, a control module 101, a photographing instructing module 104, and a switching module 104. The state evaluation module evaluates a photographing state of a designated evaluation region of the photographed image. The control module controls the photographing module according to an evaluation photographing state. The photographing instructing module instructs image photographing in a prescribed angle-of-field region. The switching module switches the mode between a first photographing mode and a second photographing mode. The control module maintains an evaluation region at the time of instruction when image photographing is instructed in the first photographing mode, and controls the photographing module according to the photographing state of the evaluation region. When image photographing is instructed after switching from the first photographing mode to the second photographing mode, the evaluation region is set to be a region corresponding to a prescribed angle-of-field region, and controls the photographing module according to the photographing state of the evaluation region.
