This telephone 1 which tells a fortune based on a telephone number and provides fortune-telling result information, includes a storage part 4 storing a plurality of pieces of fortune-telling result information, a computing part 5 performing a predetermined computing using the whole of or parts of the figures constituting the telephone number and outputting a computing result, an extraction part 6 extracting the fortune-telling result information corresponding to the computing result from the storage part, and a display part 7 displaying the extracted fortune-telling result information on a screen.
