Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental treatment chair which allows even an elderly patient or a patient having difficulty in standing up by himself or herself because of trouble in legs and lower back to easily stand up from or sit down on.SOLUTION: The dental treatment chair is provided with a back plate, a seat, a leg rest, a head rest, and a vertically moving part. The back plate, the seat, the leg rest, and the head rest are entirely moved up and down by the vertically moving part. In the dental treatment chair, a stand-up and sit-down auxiliary device provided with a pad part supporting a patient body, a pad support part, a pad vertically moving part, and a pad drive mechanism part capable of vertically moving the pad part in an oblique direction is provided at a desired position. The pad part moves obliquely upward in synchronization with moving up of the vertically moving part of the dental treatment chair, and the pad part moves obliquely downward in synchronization with moving down of the vertically moving part of the dental treatment chair.
