The image reproducing device includes: the display portion for displaying an image; a storing portion for storing image data; an image processing portion for performing contour emphasis processing of the image data; a determining portion for determining whether the image data stored in the storing portion is image data of an image having motion; and a displaying data generating portion for generating displaying data for displaying the image on the display portion by performing contour emphasis processing of the image data read from the storing portion by the image processing portion when the determining portion determines that the image data is image data of an image having motion.
