To increase the article storage capacity of an article storage box with an upper opening opened/closed by a seat, even when the width of the seat front portion is narrow, and to prevent water, dust, and the like from entering.
The article storage box 38 of a motorcycle is arranged under the seating seat 25, and provided with the upper opening 38A openable/closable by the seating seat 25. This box has a box body 41, and a lid body 42 covering an opening peripheral edge portion 41A of the approximately front half portion of the box body. The lid body 42 is provided with a vertical wall 45 rising upward. This vertical wall 45 is configured to overlap with an outer peripheral portion 52A of a bottom plate 52 of the seating seat 25 in the closed condition by a dimension H in the vehicle vertical direction.
