Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste heat recovery facilities for arc furnaces for steel making efficiently recovering waste heat by suppressing temperature fluctuation of exhaust gas.SOLUTION: The facilities for recovering waste heat from the plurality of arc furnaces for steel making includes first exhaust gas passages for discharging the exhaust gas from each of the plurality of arc furnaces for steel making, waste heat boilers installed in the first exhaust gas passages and recovering the waste heat of the exhaust gas as saturated steam, a steam accumulator for accumulating steam by merging the saturated steam generated by each of the waste heat boilers, a steam superheater for producing superheated steam by heating the steam accumulated in the steam accumulator, second exhaust gas passages for guiding the exhaust gas after the recovery of waste heat by the waste heat boiler to the steam superheater for heating the saturated steam, and an operating part for operating the plurality of arc furnaces for steel making so that they are successively operated with prescribed time lags, and the operating part minimizes fluctuation in time among the number of the operated arc furnace for steel making.
