Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the technique for improving the workability of intermediate after-branching of an optical fiber cable in an easy manner without preventing the realization of small diameter and a high density of the optical fiber cable containing an optical fiber unit.SOLUTION: At the time in which an object to be bonded made from multiple optical fibers is bonded by a bundle material so that an optical fiber unit is constituted, the bundle material floats and sinks vertically in the width direction with respect to the constituting elements of the object to be bonded arranged in parallel and braided in a zigzag manner in the length direction.
