Abstract:
The clothing apparatus, especially for a flat or roller card and including a roller clothing (22) fitter and an electronic controller and regulator (26), has an acquisition unit for measuring data received during fitting and cooperating and exchanging data with the controller/ regulator. A display unit is connected to the controller/regulator, which has a micro-computer, incorporates a data storage system and is able to communicate directly by radio, infrared or visible light or cable with the machine in which the roller (4) is installed. The roller clothing apparatus includes a roller drive with a motor (24), and the fitter has a brake (23) to produce a pre-tension in the clothing zone (29) between the roller and the brake.
