To provide a sensor device which transmits a wireless signal immediately after surrounding illuminance changes from illuminance equal to or more than preset reference illuminance to that less than the reference illuminance while extending the life of a battery, and also to provide a load control system using the sensor device.
The sensor device is equipped with: a human detection sensor 9 which detects existence/non-existence of a human; an illuminance sensor 10 which detects the illuminance of a surrounding area; a wireless signal transmitting part 4 which transmits the wireless signal including detection information of each of the human detection sensor 9 and the illuminance sensor 10; a control circuit part 2 which transmits the wireless signal from the wireless signal transmitting part 4 for every predetermined time; and the battery 5 which supplies power to the human detection sensor 9, the illuminance sensor 10, the wireless signal transmitting part 4, and the control circuit part 2. The control circuit part 2 immediately transmits the wireless signal from the wireless signal transmitting part 4 irrespective of the predetermined time when the illuminance which is the detection information of the illuminance sensor 10, changes from the illuminance equal to or more than the preset reference illuminance to the illuminance less than the reference illuminance.
