Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a ratio of unnecessary digital information contained in search results.SOLUTION: One or more search spaces in which a searchable range is restricted are stored in a search space definition file 17. A search space setting server 1 transmits a list of search spaces to a Web page display unit 21. The Web page display unit 21 displays the received list of the search spaces on a display device 27. The search space setting server 1 causes a search server 3 to search for digital information contained in a search space selected by an operator of a client 2. The search space setting server 1 associates digital information selected from among search results by the operator of the client 2 with the search space and stores the digital information in a report file 18. When the report file 18 exists, the search space setting server 1 searches both of the search space and the report file 18, and the Web page display unit 21 displays both of the search results on the display unit 27.
