Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having excellently low heat build-up, and to provide a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for the tire is obtained by compounding surface-treated silica treated with a sulfur-containing organic silicon compound represented by formula (1): (R)(R)Si-A (wherein, Ris alkoxy; Ris alkyl or the like; m+n=3: and A is a sulfur-containing group) and a sulfur-free organic silicon compound represented by formula (2): (R)Si(R)(wherein, Ris alkyl or the like; Ris alkoxy or the like; and p+q=4), in a rubber component containing a modified diene-based rubber to which at least one kind of a functional group selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy group, an epoxy group, an amino group, a glycidylamino group, a carboxy group, an acid anhydride group, an alkylsilyl group, a polysiloxane group and a lactam group is introduced.
