To provide a roof structure in which a solar cell module can be arranged with no spacing therebetween from an end of an edge of eaves, which is resistant to the state of being blown up in a wind, and which does not deteriorate an appearance of a house; and to provide an edge-of-eaves fitting.
The edge-of-eaves fixture is provided on a roofing member of an edge-of-eaves section; and the edge-of-eaves fitting includes a plurality of fixing pieces and a connecting piece for connecting the fixing pieces together. The fixing piece comprises a roofing member holding recess which is brought into contact with the front and back sides of the vicinity of the edge-of-eaves side of the roofing member positioned at the edge of the eaves, and a supporting base portion which is provided in a position away in a height direction from the recess. The fixing piece is attached to the connecting piece at a spacing; the recess of the edge-of-eaves fixture is fitted into the roofing member at a protruding end of a foundation roof structure; and an eaves-side protruding end of the solar cell module on the side nearest to the edge of the eaves is placed on the supporting base of the fixing piece.
