Abstract:
The machine has a linear movement unit (15) movable along a linear movement axis (Z1) with respect to a machine bed (1). A rotatable movement unit (17) is arranged at the linear unit in a rotatable manner around a rotatable movement axis (A1). A tool spindle (18) is arranged at the rotatable unit and provided for rotatable driving of a toothing grinding tool e.g. grinding disk. Another linear movement unit (19) is movable along another linear movement axis, and a trueing spindle is arranged at the latter linear unit, where the latter linear unit is arranged at the former linear unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for aligning a grinding tool in a gear grinding machine.
