Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early find a water leak in a hot water supply system in which hot water discharged from a water heater is supplied to warm water use equipment through hot water supply piping and its hot water supply terminals.SOLUTION: The hot water supply system 1 includes: a flow rate sensor 21 which detects a flow rate of hot water from a hot water discharge port 3 of the water heater 2; and flow rate sensors 31, 41, 51 and 61 which are arranged at sides of the hot water supply terminals 5, 6, 9 and 10 in which the hot water supply piping 4 is divided into four pieces, and detect flow rates of hot water from the hot water supply terminals 5, 6, 9 and 10. A control part 70 calculates a flow rate difference by comparing the flow rate measured by the flow rate sensor 21 and the sum of the flow rates measured by the flow rate sensors 31, 41, 51 and 61, and when the flow rate difference is larger than a prescribed reference value, displays an alarm message to a display part 73. A user can estimate the occurrence of the water leak and can early cope with the water leak by viewing the alarm message.
