Abstract:
To provide a pigment dispersion excellent in dispersion stability of pigment particles over a long period of time (long-term dispersion stability). The pigment dispersion contains a pigment, a solvent and a dispersant, and the dispersion contains, as the dispersant, an acid value dispersant having a predetermined acid value and an amine value dispersant having a predetermined amine value. The acid value of the acid value dispersant is preferably from 5 to 370 KOH mg/g. The amine value of the amine value dispersant is preferably from 5 to 200 KOH mg/g. When the rate of content of the acid value dispersant and the rate of content of the amine value dispersant in the pigment dispersion are represented by XA[wt.%] and XB[wt.%], respectively, it is preferable that the above rates satisfy a relation of 0.1 ≤ XA/XB &le 1.
