Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate blow-by by separately intensively throwing in wood chips that form a ventilation resistance layer when the blow-by occurs without newly adding an auxiliary material charging device or inert gas introduction device to a shaft furnace type gasification melting furnace.SOLUTION: In the method of eliminating blow-by, the waste is charged in the shaft furnace type gasification melting furnace, oxygen, air, or oxygen-enriched air is blown in from a furnace bottom blow port, and the waste is dried, pyrolyzed, burned, and melted. When the blow-by is detected by ascent in a furnace top temperature or descent in an inside furnace differential pressure, the wood chips that form the ventilation resistance layer are separately charged in the furnace so that the ventilation resistance layer is evenly formed in the furnace and a gas stream in the furnace is rectified. Thus, the blow-by is eliminated.
