PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein having a high β-glucosidase activity under growth temperature of yeast and acid condition.SOLUTION: A protein having higher β-glucosidase activity than β-glucosidase activity of a β-glucosidase comprising a given amino acid sequence originated from genus Thermotoga at 30°C or lower and pH 5.0 or lower is obtained.
