Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight for a vehicle, capable of changing light distribution patterns without the need of a complicated control circuit, without reducing a light flux utilization factor, and yet in a simple structure.SOLUTION: The headlight for a vehicle 1 is provided with a light source 2, a mirror 31 capable of reciprocative swinging for reflecting light from the light source 2, a reflector 4 for reflecting, toward the front of the vehicle, reflected light emitted from the light source 2 and reflected at the mirror 31, and a control part 5 capable of controlling a swinging range of the mirror 31. The control part 5 changes a range where the reflected light moves on a reflecting face 40 of the reflector 4 in accompaniment of the swinging of the mirror 31 by changing the swinging range of the mirror 31.
