Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flowmeter which is capable of improving a degree of freedom in arrangement for a duct having a noise generating source, and a fluid pressure reduction apparatus.SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic flowmeter 10, a pair of ultrasonic sensors 20A and 20B for measurement are disposed to face each other in a direction crossing an axial direction of a duct 90 where a fluid flows, and an ultrasonic sensor 30A for noise cancellation is provided at a position in axial symmetry with the receiving-side ultrasonic sensor 20A for measurement with respect to a center axis J1 of the duct 90. A differential amplifier circuit 51 is provided in which, while the receiving-side ultrasonic sensor 20A for measurement receives ultrasonic waves for measurement, a receiving signal outputted by the ultrasonic sensor 30A for noise cancellation receiving the ultrasonic waves is acquired as a noise component in a receiving signal outputted by the receiving-side ultrasonic sensor 20A for measurement receiving ultrasonic noise together with ultrasonic waves for measurement, and the noise component is canceled from the receiving signal of the receiving-side ultrasonic sensor 20A for measurement.
