Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery which is difficult to deteriorate in charge/discharge capacity even after storage, the lithium ion secondary battery using a lithium manganese-based composite oxide exhibiting high capacity while needing activation treatment, as a positive electrode active material.SOLUTION: In the lithium ion secondary battery, SiOis used as a negative electrode active material, and at least one selected from the group consisting of an organic sulfur compound in which an alkoxy group is bonded to at least one of carbons (C) included in a basic skeleton comprising diphenyl disulfide and derivatives thereof is added in an electrolyte. Deterioration in charge/discharge capacity after storage can be suppressed by the cooperation of SiOand the additive.
