Abstract:
To properly control exposure while shortening the time required for driving a diaphragm.
Stop positions of a driving means are decided so that a target aperture value is set when a diaphragm is driven in a direction of opening the aperture or a direction of closing it. Then, the driving amount to the stop position is compared with a predetermined driving amount which is determined to receive an influence from mechanical hysteresis. When the driving amount to the stop position exceeds the predetermined driving amount, the diaphragm is driven only in one direction toward the stop position by using the driving amount to the stop position.
