Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder block capable of surely preventing water leakage from a penetration part while being formed into a structure composed by press-fitting and penetratingly arranging a heat-transfer pipe in the cylinder block.SOLUTION: This cylinder head is formed into a structure composed by press-fitting and penetratingly arranging an EGR passage member 3 being a member including heat-transfer pipes 4, 4, ... forming passages of EGR gas in through-holes 1a, 1a formed on a water jacket 2, wherein annular seal members 6 each formed of a material having a linear expansion coefficient αsmaller than a linear expansion coefficient αof a material (aluminum in this embodiment) constituting the cylinder head 1 and larger than a linear expansion coefficient αof a material (stainless steel in this embodiment) constituting the EGR passage member 3 in a range pressed in the through-holes 1a, 1a (that is, cylindrical cups 5, 5) (that is, α>α>α) are interposed between the EGR passage member 3 (the cylindrical cups 5, 5 in greater detail) and the through-holes 1a, 1a.
