Abstract:

To provide a Ni-based alloy powder that has a composite oxide of Ni and Mn on at least part of the surface of NiO powder and an excellent reduction resistance, and is suitable particularly for forming fuel electrodes for solid oxide fuel cells, and a production process therefor.

The production process for the Ni-based alloy powder having a composite oxide of Ni and Mn on at least part of the surface of NiO powder comprises adding a solution dissolving and containing manganese nitrate (II) hydrate (Mn(NO3)×zH2O) to a 30-80°C aqueous suspension solution containing a nickel oxide (NiO) powder in a mole ratio of the hydrate to the nickel oxide (NiO) of 0.01-0.2 while stirring to obtain a mixed solution, evaporating the water of the mixed solution, heating the resulted reaction product of the nickel oxide (NiO) and the manganese nitrate (II) hydrate (Mn(NO3)×zH2O) at 300-1,000°C in the atmosphere, and pulverizing the reaction product.
