Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which enables a subject to be confirmed and photographed without fail even in a scene such as a backlight scene where luminance remarkably changes.SOLUTION: A camera comprises a visibility improvement section 5b; and a display section 8. The visibility improvement section 5b is configured to correct an image signal of a subject acquired from an imaging device 3 so as to increase luminance in accordance with the luminance for each of divided regions of the subject in order to improve visibility of the subject. The display section 8 is configured to display an image based on the image signal of the subject acquired from the imaging device 3. The visibility improvement section 5b sets a correction amount of the luminance of an actually photographed image to be smaller than a correction amount of an image for monitoring to be displayed on the display section 8.
