Abstract:

[Means for solution] In a bench circular saw (1), a body provided with a saw blade (10) rotating by a motor (8) is arranged so as to move vertically on a base (2) on which a workpiece is placed, an output shaft (9) of the motor 8 is arranged in parallel with a spindle (13) of the saw blade (10), and an automatic torque adjusting mechanism 20 provided with a driving pulley (21), a driven pulley (22) and a belt (23) and automatically adjusting torque transmitted from the output shaft (9) to the spindle (13) according to the load in rotating of the saw blade (10) is arranged between the output shaft (9) and the spindle (13).
