Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, although at least a structuring opening which is a mask having a special opening shape is arranged on an optical system in order to acquire depth information on a scene, the structuring opening is required to be escaped from an object optical flux when photographing a normal image for application and the structuring opening is required to be inserted into the object optical flux when photographing an image for acquiring range information.SOLUTION: The image processing unit includes an acquisition unit which acquires an infrared image available by photographing an object irradiated with an infrared pattern, and a calculation unit for processing the depth information on the object based on edge information on the infrared pattern photographed in the infrared image.
