Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loads of data processing while outputting a snapshot at high speed.SOLUTION: A storage device includes a first storage unit which can access data at a first speed and a second storage unit which can access data at a second speed higher than the first speed. According to an allocation policy defining a rule of the storage destination of latest data and difference data, the storage device stores the data on the first storage unit or second storage unit. When receiving an instruction to create snapshot data from an information processor, the storage device creates the snapshot data based on the stored latest data and the stored difference data and outputs them to the information processor.
