Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for preparing a complex model that reliably prepare the complex model of a tire model and a wheel model.SOLUTION: The method for preparing the complex model includes: an assembly step of setting a contact boundary condition under which the tire model 10 and the wheel model 20 come in contact with a contact part T between both of the models to prepare the complex model 30 in which the wheel model 20 is assembled to the tire model 10; an internal pressure setting step of setting a predetermined air pressure for the complex model 30; a comparison step of comparing a contact pressure of at least one of nodal points with a threshold, at the contact part T between the tire model 10 and the wheel model 20 of the complex model 30 in which the internal pressure is set; and a model update step of setting a displacement boundary condition at the nodal point having exceeded the threshold of the contact pressure to update the complex model 30, when the contact pressure of the nodal point has exceeded the threshold.
