An information processor for receiving video information related to an external device connected to the processor from a video distribution device connected via a network and displaying it on a display device includes: a reception means for receiving state information indicating a state of the external device from the external device; a control means for generating control information for performing streaming reproduction of the video information based on the state information received by the reception means; and a transmission means for transmitting the control information generated by the control means to the video distribution device.
