PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the effectiveness of guidance to an electronic commerce transaction service site such as a shopping site and an auction site.SOLUTION: An auction server performs: storing information related to an auction product set as a monitoring target by a user using an auction site, an example of e-commerce sites; receiving a request for obtaining information to be displayed in a different Web site from a terminal device that displays a Web site that is different from the auction site; and obtaining, when a request for obtaining information is received, product information of a monitoring target relevant to a user of the obtainment request source and responding to the terminal device with the information.
