Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the omission of updating of data to be stored in a nonvolatile memory.SOLUTION: An ECU 1 is mounted in a vehicle having an idle stop function for automatically stopping an engine when a preset idle stop condition is established and for restarting the engine when a preset idle stop recovery condition is established after stopping the engine. The ECU 1 includes a RAM 33 that is a volatile memory that can read and write data and an EEPROM 22 that is a nonvolatile memory that can rewrite stored contents. From the establishment of the idle stop condition to the restart of the engine according to the establishment of the idle stop recovery condition, write target data preset as data to be written into the EEPROM 22, among data stored in the RAM 33, are stored in the EEPROM 22.
