Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element in which reduction in the adhesion of a resin applied to the side face of a piezoelectrics can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element 40 includes a piezoelectrics 43 having a pair of principal surfaces (upper surface 43a and lower surface 43b) facing each other, and side faces (43c, 43d, 43e, 43f) extending to connect the pair of principal surfaces, and an epoxy resin covering the side faces (43c, 43d, 43e, 43f) of the piezoelectrics 43. Since the epoxy resin is cured by an imidazole curing agent, reduction in the adhesion of a resin due to the difference of thermal expansion coefficients can be suppressed, and a piezoelectric element 40 in which generation of particles can be prevented even during heat cycle is provided.
