Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering of fragments of a cleavage valve due to a high-temperature/high-pressure gas generated inside an electrode group of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.SOLUTION: A nozzle guard 201 (cleavage valve protection member) having an opening 203 is arranged between an insulating member having an opening and a lid 116 having a cleavage valve 108. The cleavage valve 108 is connected to the lid 116 by a cleavage valve neck 204 (cleavage valve fixing part). The electrode group side of the cleavage valve neck 204 is covered with the nozzle guard 201.
