Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device in which light energy of a flash is efficiently used by using an electronic shutter of an imaging element, and dimming accuracy of the flash is improved.SOLUTION: The photographing device includes a nonvolatile memory that stores emission waveform information that shows a relation between an emission time period of an external flash and an emission light quantity, a control unit that sets a time period from start of light emission of the external flash to start of accumulation by an imaging element based on the emission waveform information and an appropriate accumulation time period of the imaging element, and an emission light quantity measuring unit that measures the light emission quantity of the external flash. At a time point T10, light emission of the external flash is started, at a time point T11, the accumulation of the imaging element is started, and at a time point T12 where the emission light quantity reaches the appropriate light quantity based on the measurement result of the emission light quantity measuring unit, the light emission of the external flash is stopped.
