PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation work design system capable of optimizing further precisely the number or the arrangement mode of piles, or the like.SOLUTION: In a foundation work design system, an imposed load of each footing beam is calculated based on a plurality of divided regions generated from a foundation plan of a building and on the whole load of the building, and pile bearing power of each footing beam is calculated by allotting the bearing power of piles arranged based on the divided regions to object footing beams, and determines whether the pile bearing power of each footing beam satisfies the imposed load of each footing beam or not, to thereby optimize the number or the arrangement mode of piles.
