Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power by turning off a power supply for a section requiring no power.SOLUTION: The power control device comprises: a plurality of power supplies; a power control section for controlling power to be supplied to a load device by controlling an active/inactive state of at least one of the plurality of power supplies; and measurement means for measuring a power value to be supplied to the load device from the plurality of power supplies. When the plurality of power supplies include the power supply in an inactive state, the control section activates the power supply in an inactive state when the power value measured by the measurement means increases to a value within a fixed value with respect to a supply amount limit of the power supply in an active state, and inactivates at least one of the two or more power supplies in an active state when the power value measured by the measurement means decreases to a value less than the supply amount limit.
